What is Predictive Analytics?
Predictive Analytics is the result of 40 years of research to develop an actuarial analysis process that uses various seemingly unrelated pieces of data to predict what an individual will do in a given job by pinpointing the skills that affect results.
The Process
Participants complete a multi-faceted online questionnaire that produces individual reports that distinguish top performers from those who are weaker or less successful. This measurement predicts whether an individual will be successful in the job rather than merely describing personality traits e.g. extroversion, self-control. Predictive Analytics can be used successfully from selection through to any stage in an individual’s career.
How Predictive Analysis Works
Insight
A choice of reports is available from one questionnaire. Responses are analysed and appropriate predictive reports are prepared according to the need identified.
Reports are available for the following key areas within the employment lifecycle:
- Selection
- Personal development
- Identifying talent
- Developing talent
- Suitability for defined roles
- Role development
Change
Predictive Analytics identifies skills present in top performers and lacking in poor performers (low risk and high risk respectively in insurance terms) and measures competencies, behaviours, traits and temperaments that predict specific job success.
Reports pinpoint ‘job skills DNA’ with predictive accuracy similar to how a DNA strand identifies genetic make-up whilst most traditional personality test used in selection and development offer broad scope results.
Results
- Increased productivity and profitability achieved through an improved selection process leading to confident selection decisions.
- Selecting the person who is most likely to succeed in the given role.
- Benefit from increased productivity, reduced labour turnover and less developmental training for more talented new recruits.
- Defined succession plans and development activities based on predictive assessments save time and cost.
- The right people being ready to assume the right roles, ensuring the future well-being of the organisation.
Gain a sustainable competitive advantage.
